Administrators can define which AI applications end users may access, and monitor or block sensitive content — typed directly into a prompt or attached as a file — before it reaches an AI provider that isn't on the organization's approved list. To ensure optimal security, performance, and access to the latest features, Netwrix recommends upgrading to the latest versions of both the Server and Client components.

Support Status Overview​

  • Current Endpoint Protector (EPP) Server Version (2608): Full active support with new features, security updates, and comprehensive technical assistance
  • Current EPP Client & Enforced Encryption (EE) Version (2608): Full active support with new features, security updates, and comprehensive technical assistance
  • Previous EPP Server Version (2604): Still in active support. Plan the migration to the new 2608 version to ensure full compatibility and access to the latest security fixes.
  • Previous versions (2602 and older, including legacy versions 5.9.4.2 and earlier): Discontinued support — no new features, security patches, or technical assistance.

What This Means​

Active Support includes new feature development, security patches, bug fixes, and full technical support assistance.

Limited Support provides best-effort assistance for existing functionality and critical security updates only—no new features or non-critical bug fixes.

Discontinued Support means Netwrix provides no updates, patches, or technical support assistance.
