How to Manually Uninstall the Agent

This article provides step-by-step instructions for manually uninstalling the agent on various operating systems.

Instructions

These steps vary depending on your OS. Follow the steps below based on your machine to complete this process:

Windows

1. Navigate to Control Panel.
2. Select Programs and Features.
3. Select the agent from the list.
4. Select Change (Uninstall).

macOS

1. In the client installer package, locate the file named remove-epp.
2. Run this file in Terminal.

Linux

1. In the client installer package, locate the file named uninstall.sh.
2. Run this file from the terminal (for example, bash uninstall.sh).

You can also trigger an agent uninstall from the Endpoint Protector Console.

1. Navigate to Device Control > Computers.
2. Select the computers then click the Uninstall button at the bottom of the page.
